The Richard Lander School is a secondary school, a specialist technical college, in Truro, Cornwall, in the United Kingdom. It is named after Richard Lemon Lander. Ornamental artefacts from the Iron Age have been discovered buried under the school's playing fields.

Sport

Richard Lander school has a astro turf, two tennis courts. Every year on sports day pupils compete in diffent events such as shootput, 100m sprint and a 1500m run to score points for their communites.

GCSEs

At Richard Lander School most students are encouraged to take English Language, Mathematics, Science, one modern Foreign Language French or German (this changed for the present year 10's)and one Design Technology subject such as Food Technology, Graphics, Resistant Materials or Textiles.

English Literature is also compulsory for Middle & Top Sets.

Richard Lander is well known for its school dramatic productions. In 2009 this was West Side Story (received many reviews, including one on Pirate FM); in 2010 this was Journeys, a play written by pupils based on plays by Nick Darke.
